What did you do on halloween this year (2019)?

I stayed home and had a quiet evening because of my availability and because it was bad weather where I am.

I originally planned on checking out Halloween stuff in my local area though.

    Worked. Felt so exhausted, physically, mentally and emotionally that I barely made it home. Came home and helped my mother tend to my grandmother who had a series of bad falls. No time for trick or treaters this year. Maybe next year. Halloween is better on a non work day.

    My boyfriend and I put on our costumes and went around a few shops. At the end of it, we went to Popeye's and ate chicken sandwiches. He dressed as Toad and I dressed as princess Peach(their Mario Tennis outfits). We had a good time.

    It was like any other day yet I gave kids who came to my door 50 cents. No one came so I got to keep my stack of quarters for laundry.

    Went to a small Halloween party dressed as an emo but it was kinda meh, barely anyone was dressed up and the host started whinging about how late it was at 10:30. We carved pumpkins and my friend carved a penis riding a broomstick infront of a crescent moon onto hers, she even shaved the skin off the dick so it was a lighter colour to the rest of the pumpkin. It was art.

    My friends and I were booted out at 11:30ish and sternly told to take our pumpkins home with us. I dumped mine on a random wheelie bin but my friend was annoyed at the host so left her penis pumpkin infront of the house so they would see it when they woke up, but apparently one of their other non-whingey house mates came home and tripped over it so that was awkward.

    Basically I had more fun getting ready at my house, talking shit and watching Nightmare Before Christmas.

    Looked up at the black sky. Felt a strange chill prickle up and down my body. Blacked out. There was this horrible sound coming out of my throat, like the mouth of hell with all of its boiling demons had opened in my stomach. Straight-jacket. Replying from a white room.

    Jk, I didn't do much of anything besides my usual work.

    felt lonely. BF did a bunch of anime porn, meanwhile I was trying to motivate myself to do some inktober. Never did. He's too busy this semester. i dont think ill end up marrying him, he is too much of a manchild anyways. When we're on the phone he makes stupid "subtle" commentary on those "delicious sweet strawberries". anyone wanna be a study budy.. ill give u my email to do google hangouts... or skype idk whatever just not social media. Im so lonely with social anxiety and tired of being yelled at for "simple" problems i cant solve.

        this one lady requested a public defender and the judge was going off on her, THEN started talking shit to her B/F cause he wore a hat in court. When they stomped out all pissed, the judge called them back in and was saying something about how they are not to get mad in his court room. That was the short version.

        I was thinking, "Well Jesus Christ you needle dick son of a shit talking bitch, don't talk to people like they are dog crap and MAYBE they won't get upset".

        People see Judge Judy and assume it is Hollywood. Some judges really ARE that fucking rude, especially those less fortunate.

        Easy to say "they shouldn't have fucked up" but I live by this one - Do not mock anyone's misfortune, you might be next."

    I went to the smoke shop, Puffster, then I went to one of my favorite places, Target. Afterwards I went to the grocery store, and bemoaned the lack of good grocery store sushi in Dover.

    I also knocked the passenger side mirror off my car while backing out of the garage, because why not have a new experience when I'm in a hurry?

    Got together with some American buddies of mine (US soldiers in Germany) and we got drunk XD

    First there were the formalities. Since most of those guys are family men - accompanying children for the trick or treat run across the base cul-de-sacs, having dinner, me scaring the kids with SCP stories XD

    Then most of us went to a Halloween party on base. My girlfriend was dressed like Morticia Adams and I was in a black suit with sunglasses, pretending to be a member of the MIB and cracking alien jokes all night XD

        I have no idea. I did go to the boxing gym the day before it went out and did a class. I should have gotten in better shape before doing a class because it really killed me.

        My conversation with the traditionalist Catholic priest was thankfully civil, although he did dash off an email to me later, terrified that he might have offended or insulted me! I found this very sweet.

    Went fake trick or treating like we do every year with our young learners since there's no real trick or treating in Brazil. The next day I dressed up as a 60s nurse and went to our school's Halloween party.
