I feel that some of us lack confidence b/c of the way we were made. Some of us know for sure we are definitely not stud-muffins. I know for sure that I personally find some girls beautiful and others not so much. I guess the attractiveness scale we are weighed on is determined by how we each use our looks to combine with a certain style.

I find people attractive that my friends don't and vice versa. There's someone for everyone.
To me it doesn't matter. If it's about finding a girl, you will find your dream girl. Also if you are not model-material, compensate with humor, knowledge, something else she would like.
Cause regardless of what people will try to tell me.
When you meet someone new, they judge you only by your looks.
This is an initial thing, but it's always a thing that happens. If said person looks nice, he makes a much better impression.
Of course then there is the media that portrays false standards of beauty and women strive to reach that standard more than men.
And that I find stupid. Don't imitate tv idiots, find your own style, be you!
Beauty is the eye of the beholder. There's something beautiful in everyone.
...And then there are people who are attracted by personality, and don't really give a shit if you're a 'stud-muffin' or not...:)
