In my opinion, Homosexuality is just a personal choice. It's not genetic or a decease and it is not a culture. It is normal. It shouldn't be frown upon or hated. Homosexuality has been around in history for a very very long time and recorded in the time of the Romans as well. Somehow, over the generations Homosexuality has been considered wrong, unholy and against the religions some of us believe in.
Homosexuality is glamorized today because they have to fight against a society to be respected as people and the human-beings they are because of the ignorance of thousands of individuals who grew up to have a negative outlook on homosexuals along with cultures and the appearance of others. Sadly, some are just plain unaware on the true meaning of homosexual and treat it as fad or as something that should disappear forever. Some may hear "Homosexual" and automatically think: AIDS! HIV!
I once was told by a heterosexual anti-gay individual that the government created AIDS to stop homosexuals. So scary and ridiculous that people out there actually think this way. To get back to the point of my opinion I believe Homosexuality is a choice and that people are free to choose. Also, it is not a bad thing that homosexuality is glamorized whether it is in your own town or on television because at some point gay or not we should take pride in who we are.
I'm heterosexual with an open-mind and with strong opinions that shouldn't be taken as facts and I have a homosexual best friend who is going through the hate in life that some here express.
I don't really care.. It's everybodys decision to do what they want with their life

It's like every other soul in this world. Gays are PEOPLE and nothing else but a HUMAN BEING. Why exile them of their existence if they were given the chance to live and love as all heterosexuals? Let them live. It's almost as if someone judges them as ugly beings from a different planet.

Gays are like anyone else. They just prefer people of the same sex, the only difference. People are free to love, regardless of gender. I have a gay friend, and he is the greatest person I've ever met. Lovable guy.

How are you gonna' go to "hell" which I think life is hell, for the way you are. I think you have the right to be who you want to be. If people don't like you for it then tell them to fuck off. Me and my husband both feel that marriage is sacred thing for two people in love. People are free to choose and I support them. You can't help who you love. I don't know why people compare being in love with another person to being in love with an animal or a computer. Have you seen those "comics" of a man being in line to get married to a computer cause, "if we allow homosexuals to marry, people will want to be married to other unacceptable things", pff, ridiculous.

Don't know about the straight community towards bisexuals but gay people think they are closet gays. It's so stupid. I am gay and I just wouldn't bother doing it with a woman unless I was genuinely interested.
I have different points of view on this, but whether or not I support them, there is no question. I mean, come on. The amount of bashing and ridicule so many gay individuals endure must say something. I find it hard to believe someone would just do it, so there is obviously a reason. I think all of the research as to what causes attraction is foolish. For those in disbelief, testing with pheromones show that gay men become aroused when they smell that of a male, and do not respond to female. They have also found gay sheep, so obviously it is what it is for the disbelievers. I think the true haters are haters because they question themselves, but are too fearful of people like themselves if they were to come out.

"Free to choice" (choose) implies it is a conscious choice.
I think in the overwhelming majority of cases it is something the person cannot choose, just like a straight person would find it virtually impossible to CHOOSE to be attracted to someone of the same gender.
Anyway, I have no problem with homosexuality at all. It doesn't affect me negatively, it doesn't prevent me from doing what I want to do, it just is.
I'd judge someone on the basis of their personality and their achievements rather than their sexuality.

1) Pychologists have proved that to be false, homosexuality actually begins in the womb. It cannot be "cured" but people can be brainwashed into thinking they're straight, but this leads to SEVRE problems (normally depression or a personality disorder) in the future.
2) Almost all AIDs related deaths currently are of hethrosexuals, not gays. People connect AIDs with gays because most of the early victims were straight, but that was coincidence.
