My Grandmother.
She died when I was 11. She practically raised me when I was young and she was one of the few people in my life that saw any potential in me.
I love her. She is deified in my mind. I keep thinking that had she not died, my life would be so much different. I wouldn't have been alone when my parents decided to do what they did. I wouldn't have had to have taken my own side. To have had one rational adult in my life that my parents might have LISTENED to when they were acting like children instead of me, a child, trying to reason with them... it was almost like there was no such thing as logic and reason in my life. Like never existed. Everyone just... forgot.
She had many problems, but she was one of the most intelligent and rational human beings I have ever met. She went from an impoverished and beaten little girl living in a shack in the middle of the woods to a well-adjusted, college educated woman. No one like her will ever walk this Earth again.
Call me sentimental and soft, but there is a hole in my life that was left when she died. There is a void in my family that only she could have filled.
If I grow up to be even half the woman that she was, I'll have achieved something grand.
I lost my grandma when I was 11 as well. =( I feel the same way my life would have been so much better/different if she was still around. I don't think anyone will ever replace her, or is like her. I hope someday I can be even half the women she was.... she basicly raised me... I would trade everything I have in life to have one more day with her.
You've practically made me cry. To be honest since I'm on IIN I have always picture you as a sort of robot. But I was wrong. I feel the same for my aunt who died some years ago. She raised me and I called her mum..
Depressing answer: Little chunk of my left ear. Ripped off by an angry parent when I was just a baby dappled.
Semi-depressing answer: Dogs and people. I loved them greatly.
Not depressing answer: My sandwich. Ten minutes ago it was noble and complete. But now it has been noshed and has gone to a better place. Tomorrow morning it will go to a worse place.
It was a great thing. The most whole of all wholemeals. And it had Mexican cheese, French onion marmalade, vegetarian sausages by a lovely American woman who was once married to a Beatle and who died way too young in Tucson, Arizona where she went to college and where the Beatles song "Get Back" urged her home to. Sweet Loretta Martin? Sweet Linda McCartney.

I had an intense desire to read about an overly patriotic reality show enthusiast meth addict who has never been kissed at 23 getting anal from her brother while her dog eats her out and ex-con grandma tapes it. I literally have lost 6 marbles (the tangible kind) in my backyard. Seriously, I can't find them, and it's really depressing me.

I've lost probably just about everything you've mentioned except for limbs at some point in my life lol But I'd have to say my biggest losses right now is, I've lost my way in life and a big part of myself.
I lost my desire to play on Medal of Honor Warfighter. That game is horrible
I'm about to lose a good friend. I'm about to lose my dog. I've been losing money going towards medical bills. Some specific feelings I'm losing.

My stubbornness, for one thing. Also, a molar, a mentor, and many meals.
I guess I'm missing affection in my life. I've never been in a relationship before and I do yearn for one but I want to be patient a make a good decision when choosing a potential partner. Better to do something right then to do something fast.
