I was thinking of these:
1. Allow us to post images again, perhaps moderated or only for gold members
2. Allow us to block anonymous posters. I think this would help get rid of many of the trolls.
What do you think of these ideas and what are some of your ideas?
Posting images don’t sound bad idk if I’d want to pay to do it though. Getting more votes is something I’d prob consider.
I miss the time when TheManagement was very active on here. So many great suggestions were implemented on a regular basis. I've seen the usability of this site improve quite a bit. I don't know exactly when or why pictures were taken away, but it changed several of my posts that I made in the past and they aren't the same without them. I wish the old posts could've been grandfathered in or something, but I guess there would be too many people questioning it. I guess this way the idea of it will just slowly die out.
I get where you're coming from but I'm not sure that blocking anonymous posters will help. I think that messes with the whole point of the site. You'd have people getting reported/blocked just for posting stuff that someone disagrees with making the site pretty pointless. I'd just ignore the troll stuff and click on whatever sounds interesting, rather than start censoring people.
Then again the site has such a small user base anyway... Probably makes little difference. I think this place is dying.
Sorry pics isn't going to happen. I've seen many disgusting sex/gore pics from before when profile pictures were allowed. Won't go back to that. People are assholes and ruined it.

You could step the fek up and just ban people who do that. You know, by actually moderating the site.

Maybe you could recruit a nonpaid volunteer or two from the community here to watch for stuff like that. I'm sure you could find someone with the time who wouldn't mind.
It's annoying when you see that someone's replied to your comment on a question, but when you check it you find that the question has been deleted so you can't see that person's reply. It'd be cool if you were allowed to look at the question one last time or something, so that you could see the reply.
I suggest that the mods notify people if they've placed a certain restriction on them, or if they've violated guidelines.
I've had a post blocked from the view of other users, but I would never have known wtf happened had I not checked with a second account.
No good reason not to beable to block people. As far as posting pictures go? This place would turn into an absolute shit show. This place doesn't generate enough money to fund the army of moderators required to contain that.
I screwed myself by making a post with some things that the mods considered to be helpful, anti-troll ideas.
Now we all have to wait some amount of time before logging in after logging out, and we start on the home page, not posts.
I like your ideas. However, modding pics would seems quite ambitious for the way this website seems to be staffed.

I agree that pics would be a plus, but I'd never pay to post them. I would ban the IP of that guy who's obsessed with buttholes. Other than that, I really like this site the way it is.
Yes yes yes!! The second option is what i want. The trolls masquerade as anonymous ops to start arguments with legit users.
Yeah, I think it would come in handy, but I'm seeing a downside from the owners point of view. It could take out the anonymity of the Iin site; say that you only blocked one anonymous poster. Then when you can't see what theyve commented on a post, you will know who they are.
