What are people like after high school

OK now I know an assortment of misfits that go to my high school like the misunderstood genius, the smart but kinda crazy somewhat psychopath, the tall mostly depressed loner, the anime freak(s) the list goes on. Anyway that got me to wondering if I interact with these people with a day in day out basis and I myself at this point think their a bit off. Anyway I think that most of these people won't even be alive several years after high school. Is it normal to think that people you meet in high school will somehow drop of the face of the earth because the way they were then and now just cant seem compatible with adult society.

    I used to and still do imagine the mean girl that went to my highschool as a homeless alcoholic with no friends or family

    Actually you probably won't see them much in your life after high school especially if you move out of town. So suck them off if you want, no one except them will know or care.

      I wish someone was not so wrapped up in love and liked normal things still. Maybe I am just too young for my age. I have other interests besides settling down and getting a life partner.

    I think some of the people at my school will die or end up in prison, oddly I always think they will suffer a slow and painful death or be homeless..ha

    so far everyone from my hs has pritty much stayed the same. the loners are still alone, the jocks are still **** suckers and the freaks are still my best friends. ahhh... high school, the worst days of your life you will always miss.

    after school, everyone is the same. working to make a buck and pay bills. Just some are more successful than others

    If you go to a good college things are very different. It's not like what you see in high school. Yes people do change after high school. Not all of the weird people will be successful so if you distance yourselves from them you will see less of them in college.

    People do change after high school. Most of them anyway. And like swimminghorses said, I'm also shocked at the amount of people who died from my graduating class (98). Like the one dude was a total jock and then overdosed in college. Didn't even think he was the type to do drugs. And if I see someone I knew from school, I say hey to them even if we never spoke in school. We grow up just a little more when high school is over.

    Usually after the first year of college your average high school misfits will even out into actual people. For those not going into college and straight into a career or trade have to change as well to fit into the workforce. Although anime freaks tend to prosper a little longer in community colleges lol

        I am so sorry if you're one of the kids with parents that dress up as InuYasha and force they're childen to dress up as Pokemon at anime conventions. Jk, jk. Yes, some gamers/anime freaks just will not stop =(

    What happened with my class was all the ppl that did good in high school were the ones that did shitty and dropped outta college. Then all the ones that got average grades are the ones doin well in college. Actually majority of the good high schoolers started to drugs. Better to get that shit done and over wit in high school cause college is a whole new ballpark and a expensive one too.

    I'd say everybody changes after high school. I don't think they'll die or anything though.

    I was known as a goth/loner/freak even though I regarded myself as none of those things and five years later, I love pop music etc.

    Also all the people I went to school with have changed so much, school is a learning curve/experience so change is somewhat inevitable.
