I would be a rabbit.
I am quick, rather sly, I know I have a few predators in this "forest" and due to my own ADHD and quickness I either get away before I even notice that they are there or I see them and can only hold the thought for a minute XD, I have a decent enough amount of life experience and I see things from the perspective of someone who is curious, inquisitive but feels the constant need to move. I also have a rabbit-like sex-drive and the women in my family have the saying that unless they are on birth control, walking by a fertile tree in bloom would be enough to impregnate us. Also, very much like a rabbit, my behavior can range from typical and predictable to erratic and odd.

I can be cute, cuddly and fun or I can be an annoying, squeeling little sharp-clawed asshole. Either way, when I leave, I will either leave wisdom, cuteness or poop.

WOW no one chose ape. And they are the most similar to humans! The irony!

I gave this a lot of thought but thanks to another user, I can't come up with anything other than flying squirrel. And it works. I'm usually cute and friendly. But sometimes I'm annoying. But maybe you didn't notice me.

But I also feel like I could be some form of plant life, just not sure which one. Probably a medicinal plant. Something useful yet understated.

Oooh, this is one of those questions where we are asked to quantify ourselves using a metaphorically resonant yet objectively unladen term, isn't it?

Obviously the question is fundamentally reductionist. Dove is a really obvious choice for me, but I think that might be a little *too* reductionist. Maybe an owl; not because I'm wise but because I spend half the night awake :P I've always loved elephants, but I don't think I'm social enough.

I'd be a wolf. I'm pack orientated. Family first. Hunting the grocery store for food. Making sure my den is clean and warm.
I can be silent when need be. Walking ever so softly to not be noticed. And yet be ferocious to protect the pack.
And always eyes and ears open for poachers.

I chose snake because I like them, but then I thought about how it might apply to me (irl, not on IIN)

Many people are afraid of snakes and think they're intimidating. In reality, most of them just kind of slither around beneath your feet and won't mess with you unless you mess with them first.. in which case they'll either bite, poison, or eat you. Some people understand and like snakes. Through repeated handling, they can become good friends. So.. I'd be a snake. I would like to fly though.

I always considered myself to be a spider; creative, introverted, unique, likely to kill my husband (lol). Spiders don't seem to be like other bugs that just fly around and annoy the shit out of people. They pretty much leave everyone and everything alone, unless provoked, and they seem to be cunning when it comes to catching dinner (I mean, let me see a fly build a web). I found that I have a lot in common with the spider and so much that I've gotten a black widow tattooed on my back.

I would probably be a fox. Something red, fuzzy, and (mostly) harmless, bringing mischief and intelligence to any discussion in the Forest.

Although I could be very wrong. Feel free to disagree and tell me what you think.

I'm probably a selection of them depending on my mood.

Sometimes I sit in the grass like a snake, watching the rest of the animals fight, fuck and shit on each other. Other times I jump around like a monkey (can't believe you didn't include monkey) making dumb noises and throwing bits of crap about. More often than not I'm an owl in a tree trying to be wise, but looking out for a quick long-tailed bite to swoop down upon.

Or I'm just a guy sat in a tent in the middle of the woods.

I'm not sure what I would be on your list. If I could choose anything I would want it to be a Gabriel hound. :P (Canz I pwease be mythical?)

Because I'm chaotic, have a very fluid and unconventional concept of morality, and if I comment in a controversial post it's almost sure to shake some people up a little bit.

I Hunt through the forest, looking for interesting posts and am something of a carnal being. (When it comes to sexual appetites at least) When I see a good post, I'll pounce on it and comment with great fervor, just as the denizens of the Wild Hunt when they ride.

I have chosen this place as my Hunting Ground because it feeds my desire for intelligent conversation and interesting people to connect with.

a female bird of paradise from new guinea, the song and dance the boys put on to impress the girls is amusing , the girls all drab and picky and the boy birds are gorgeous, also no natives want to kill the female birds for their brown feathers, they stay under the radar unnoticed (like me) :)

I'd like to be some sort of small bird; I'd like to always be on the move and impossible for anyone to hold down! I love to be airborne as well whether on a plane, on a roller coaster, on a swing.. it's just an amazing feeling to be off the ground and knowing you will always be able to come back down.

Spider. I am not the most well-liked, but people seemed to take notice of what I say. I am somewhat solitary, but whenever I see someone who could truly use my help I swing in.

Owl - I am more energetic in the night, and I just plain love the night. The night sky is beautiful, and I am more productive then. My vision in the dark is good, and I am calmer during the night.

I go for Owl thought it is nocturnal it is able to know what other creatures are doing around it and it keeps its silence
during when most creatures are active and shows its proud nature only when others go down for night!

The wolf because I have an unnatural amount of canine teeth and that I like to work with a team to take prey out, plus hunting is fun... This is why I like to play football (haha completely irrelevant)

I see myself as a dove because I'm here to o give my perspective, but not to judge. I do not seek a fight with anyone here but i like to give my input when I feel a need to.

Couldn't say for certain what I'd be. I'm generally very amicable until I'm pestered or threatened then there is no period of grace, I immediately became short tempered and quite violent. I try to mind my own business but frequently find that I've stuck my nose in a place I'd rather not be. Being a large guy I'm naturally intimidating but once you get to know me I'm the farthest thing from scary, and while I take great pride in my strength I'm not vain. I don't OP why don't you throw out a couple ideas.

I picked wolf but elephant is my favorite animal. I love elephants because of their size and intelligence and like wolves because of their endurance and loyalty.

I guess a snake?? Nobody notices me (I like it that way) and when they do, they run in the opposite direction.(I like it that way too. I enjoy solitude.)
