Younger. I've NEVER really liked older guys from a relationship perspective and honestly think dating people older than me would be gross, for some wierd reason.
However, they have to be more mature than me in some ways.
Why do so many girls - according to this poll - prefer older people?!
I will never understand how when some women are younger, they want much older guys. Then, when the same woman gets to be older, she wants and feels that she is entitled to date a younger male. Where was that attitude when she was younger? It's crazy. If a person wants a young person, then they should date a young person when they themselves are young. Don't wait until you are pushing forty to want a twenty year old. I mean, if two people actually like each other for who they are instead of their age, it doesn't matter. But certain people's choices in sexual partners are mind boggling.
I honestly think a lot of them choose older men because they want a father figure of some kind, or that younger men are "immature" in their minds.
As for a 40-year-old wanting a 20-year-old I think age is no barrier when it comes to sexual experimentation but that you can't ever truly be in romantic love with anyone who is more than 10 years older or younger than you.
Not too young and not too old. I would only go as low as 18 and as high as 26. I don't want a guy who already has a career. I'd rather be with someone who's around the same stage of life I'm at and if he's too old he might want kids and I don't want a kid till I'm way older.
I'm in a tri poly relationship our average age is 23 I'm 27. We are planning on a line family and have been discussing what we think the average age should be. It will most likely be between 25-35 not sure yet though
I am polyamorous literally it means "multiple loves". I was homosexual until about 6 months ago(now im bi), I have always wanted a family and a large one at that. basically me and 2 friends (tri) decided to form a family because all three of us want lots of kids (no less than 8). A line family is basically a social unit formed for the purpose of creating a stable environment to raise children. More parents means more social and financial security. Even though there are only three of us at the moment we are not opposed to the idea of inviting more people to join the family and in fact we look forward to it.
This is not an "open marriage" in fact there is no marriage as polygamy is illegal. The relationship is a committed relationship but dating is permitted. Marriages dont last more than 7 years yet poly relationships last much longer. We have common values, and have similar ideas about how children should be brought up. Because our focus is on the children instead of obsession over the partners it makes for a healthier relationship.

I think the younger my S.O. is the better because we can experience more together.
i prefer my guy to be older since i always get along better with older people. i act mature for my age, and i do want someone to take care of me...by the way im 20, i think guy aged 25-27 are really hot.
I voted 'don't care', but not in the "oh your only 7, but I'll wait" way. The point is, when you have a genuine significant other. They probably will be around your age (your not gonna suddenly be super attracted to an old gasbag) and you proably won't care if their older or younger by much (unless it goes against the laws).
I would prefer my significant other to be either around my age or slightly older.

It would be nice if they were around my age. I don't care if its younger or older. As long as they're not 50, I'm good.
From experience, I prefer a girl to be very close to my age or a couple of years younger. Not older though for some reason. It also probably depends on the girl herself too, rather than her age.
I am currently 18 years old, I don't care what age.. it shouldn't matter, as long as that person makes you happy and you make them happy..

At least by two years. I'm almost 18 now and guys my age annoy me, so my range would be 19 1/2 to 24. After that they start wanting kids and probably have emotional baggage. Older guys are so much more smart and hot lol
I'm a guy. When I was younger I usually preferred older females. Now that I'm older, I usually prefer younger females. As luck would have it, my best relationship was with a female a few years younger than myself, when I was young.
