Neither are easy. A loving relationship takes hard work. You can kill love so easily, with a bit of distrust, jealousy or cruelty.
It is something to be treasured, nurtured and appreciated; something missed and desired when it's not there.
It's easier when there's no huge line at Wallmart so you can pay for your shit quicker without having to deal with the inconvenience that is other people's existence.
It's EASIER to BE loved, it takes no effort ;) but it's more satisfying to love and not just receive
Love is a subjective feeling. If a person believes to love someone, this person IS loving someone, because there's no objective definition of the feeling "love". There is no wrong, incorrect love, - it simply doesn't exist.
That being said: The process of "loving someone" is yours, you have full control over the situation (if not your brain, then at least your heart does), and therefore it is easy.
Whereas the process of "being loved by someone" is out of your control, you don't know, how your actions are going to affect this other person's love towards you. You can't do anything to keep another person from loving you, or to make them love you. Therefore, it is hard to be loved.
What about love? What about our promises?
Anywho, I'd think that being loved would be easier? Because you don't have to do anything..right? Loving someone else is an action on your part.
People killin', people dyin'
Children hurt and you hear them cryin'
Can you practise what you preach
And would you turn the other cheek

Where is the love?
Where is the love, the love, the loveeeeeeeee
Neither of them have been difficult for me so far. They've both been involuntary, actually.
