Weird trip

Today I smoked weed with a couple of friends and it was a fairly big joint, but I had smoked a lot in the past so it wasn't something that was totally new for me, I've been smoking for almost eight months now. I hadn't eaten a good meal since the day before yesterday, just some things to keep me up (a bowl of cereal and white sliced bread) because yesterday I took my first MDMA trip and because of that I didn't feel hunger, The MDMA dose was a little high for me, I think because I'm a little underweight.

The thing is that today, forty five minutes after we smoked, I was in my house and suddenly started to feel a little dizzy and first I thought that it was normal, but everything went downside from there, every time I blinked I saw more and more black spots. Also, I began to hear a high pitched sound and had little to none balance, I could barely keep my feet on the ground, a friend of mine was there so he helped me to my bed and gave me two pieces of chocolate and that helped. After a couple of minutes I was fine again, although very, very tired.

Was this a low sugar thing or, low pressure (even though I don't have any kind of problem with that) or just a bad trip? Is this normal?

  • You've got to have axequate nutrients...that goes double if you are going to use recreational substances. You just didn't eat enough and being high made amplified the feelings being malnourished.

Eat normally and stop doing drugs. Your life will greatly improve.

  • Just put a "Because" on your first paragraph. That's the answer. For all dicks in the world's sake, you're messed up! How would you expect any balance in the chemistry of your body with a lifestyle like that???

Not necessarily. Weed and MDMA don't make your blood sugar crash, that's just from not eating enough. MDMA does have significant risks but this wouldn't be one of them.

Normal given the circumstances. It wasn't weed though. It was that you didn't eat. I've gotten that feeling without any drugs just from not eating to some extent. I could imagine if it happened when I was high I might get kind of excessively worried about it for a while. When your high, always have some type munchies around

Has nothing to do with Sugar... It's all about too little oxygen in your system and too much thc. When moments like this repeat itself just take big breaths... Then again, that depends, the symptoms sound like when it happened to me except I saw white dots that increased in numbers until my entire vision was covered, I lost all forms of co-ordination when I lost sight but strangely was mentally there like it hadn't happened... After the initial panic and relaxing and breathing normally it would go back to normal after 30 secs to a minute.

I may be misunderstanding it for the same thing, but hey in your case it might have been a lack of sugar.

I've never had a moment like this after a similar night, always been solely after having a joint. I've had MDMA, Ket, weed and booze all in the same night before (actually, 3 grams of MDMA shared between me and 4 people) but the only bad thing that came from that night is my friend K-Holing for 30 consecutive minutes, my other friend chipping his tooth from grinding his teeth, my other friend throwing up, and everybodys lack of an appetite (which was normal).

Why did I add that last bit? Because people are judging this guy and saying his lifestyle is crap when truthfully it could be worse and honestly his lifestyle is normal. Everybody has their mad insane moments, I don't take anything other than weed regularly so I'm not a bad person lol

I suppose it depends on what circles you move in, but doing drugs and not eating properly isn't normal, it's dangerous if it's done long term

OP sounds fairly young, but even so I reckon it'd be good if h/she gave some thought to the fact that this is the only body h/she is ever going to have and to look after it, no-one is invincible. I say this as someone who's fucked my body permanently with a legal drug, because I thought it couldn't happen to me.

I'm not against recreational drugs, legal or illegal, but everything has its price
