Weird sleeping habit

Ever since it was like 5 or 6 I've had this weird thing about where I put my head when I go to bed. I have nightmares when I put my head on the right side of the pillow and I have really weird dreams on the left side of the pillow and I have either no dream or just a regular dream when I put my head in the middle. Most of the time when I put my head in the middle it's no dream.

When I sleep, if I wake up, I have to roll over snd face the other wa to fall asleep. Always have. I think it has to do with the angles and such, as it affects my dreams to an extent as well.

    That's not normal, unfortunately.

If your head's on either side of the pillow, I'm guessing you turn with your body onto the sides, and not just stick your upfacing head on another spot? lol

If this is the case, it might relate to the brain resting in certain positions/angles. They say not to sleep on your front as it can restrict breathing and press the heart, maybe resting your head onto different sides affects the brain?

    Hmmm... food for thought.

My body is usually pointed to the right, with my right arm underneath my head... It's comfy :)

We all have different sleeping habits.

Actually, you dream everytime you sleep for any significant period of time. You just aren't remembering your dreams when you think you have none.

I've never heard of someone's head position affecting their dreams, though.

You are not alone.Normal sleep for me is like going to the movies. When it comes to the right side of the pillow i get a terrible popping in my right ear.The left side of the pillow gives me heartburn from hell.Sleep aids are my only salvation but it gives me crazy dreams, not really nightmares just really graphic dreams.I should write this stuff down, I could be the next Steven Spielberg.
