I know it's not that normal, but i just want to see if anyone else does this
For some reason, i always lick the back of my hand, exhale on it, and then smell the back of my hand. Sometimes it smells like soap, and sometimes it smells like bad breath. Don't know why i do it, but i do
Odd, but probably normal. I just tried it, now I'm worried people can smell my breath.
It's a good way to remind yourself to brush!
Saw a poster in the dentists saying that it's a way of knowing if you got bad breath so i actually did something similar for a while.
yea actually i seen on tv that that is the best way to find out how ur breath smells
I just did tht and mine smelled like my bathroom soap....I wonder why...
It can be comforting smelling your own skin. A way of interfacing with the world...I am still here... It's a sensory experience.
At least it's not illegal or likely to make you ill... I wouldn't expect to find many people who are happy for you to do this in public. It;s a bit taboo. Maybe that's why you like it...
Personally and I hate to admit it but I have the same habit don't know why or how it started I don't do it when I am around people and I only do it like once in a blue moon but its strange and for some reason I do it. But like the person above said, its only a strange habit nothing more and nothing to freak out about for sure.
Weird habit yeah.. But that's all it is and maybe you should try and stop :)
