Weird finger twitches when i play guitar....

Sometimes (a lot of the times, actually) when I try to play guitar, my ring finger twitches a lot and it's hard to play the note with that finger. IIN?

    ive been playing for 7 years and at first my ring finger did that too but the more i played the less it did it, and also are you playing electric or acoustic? i think it has to do with finger strength maybew try exercising it lol or switch to smaller lighter strings
