Weird fantasies with a serial killer.

I've been interested in Psychology for about 3 years now, especially in Serial Killers and what's going on in their Heads, what damaged them, but lately I've been literally ''Obsessed'' with Serial Killer Ted Bundy. He murdered and raped several Women in the 70s. I'm writing a Book about him, so I'm watching a lot of Documtenaries, reading a lot of Reports and Books, so I'm basically surounded by him for hours everyday.

I've always had strange Fantasies, but lately I've noticed that I fantasize a lot about Ted Bundy raping me and all that kind of kinky stuff (I also have a lot of BDSM Fantasies), and also, that he murders me at the end of my fantasy, which is very Strange to me and I'm ashamed of it. I'm a Virgin, but I've been sexually active before, and I've also been very Suicidial for a year (not anymore). So, my question is, are my Fantasies about Ted Bundy normal?

    I have studied bundy for quite a while. I completely agree that as long as these thoughts are fantasy, they are harmless. However if they start to affect your real life and relationships, then I would seek help. If you are suicidal, then please do not hesitate to get help immediately. But if you are experiencing negative thoughts, could there be some kind of underlying anger or sadness issue that has triggered these emotions? If so, they may link you to feeling like you can relate with him. On another note, Hybristophilia (or Bonnie and Clyde Syndrome)is a problem that a small handful of people have. Those who have hybristophilia feel sexual or romantic desire towards someone who has done terrible or outrageous things. Is this you? It is very possible that the primal human instinct to be drawn to a "bad boy" is all you are feeling, and if that is true, maybe you are reading too much into it. Bundy was attractive and intelligent, and ironically studied psychology during his time at the University of Washington. He used his charm against his victims. It is possible that his charm is still affecting you today when you read and study about him. If it persists I would see your doctor, but if you are simply fascinated and it has no real effect on your life and relationships, you should be fine.

    I have had similar fantasies myself. There is something primal in some women that has fantasies of being raped and domineered by a man. As long as it is only a fantasy and does not spill over into real life, then I think it is OK. It is an attraction to danger and peril that creates a sexual rush. However, it would be horrible to have anything like that happen in real life, I cannot even imagine! It is the reason so many people are into bondage, S&M, and torture-porn. As long as fantasy is all it is,that is fine, but if you are starting to desire these scenarios in real-life, you will more than likely get seriously hurt. If you are feeling suicidal, you need to get help as soon as possible! A death wish is not a good thing. None of his victims wanted to die, that is for sure!

    I consider most fetishes normal, but this I just can't call normal. I mean he's a terrible terrible person. The kind of terrible that only saying terrible only twice seems like taking things to lightly. I could kind of see it being normal without the whole he kills me at the end thing, but then again, I'm not sure what he would have going for him if you took that away. That being said, this is not a fantasy only you have. I've ran into quite a few people attracted to serial killers on the internet. Occasionally they just liked the way they look, but almost always it involved some sort of murder fantasy.

    He is a really terrible person and you wouldn't really like it if you were actually one of his victims. But I have to admit, I have had that fantasy too, and he's not the only serial killer i'm attracted to. Oh hybristophilia.. But deep down, I know it's just not right.
