today i woke up after dreaming a lot about that i had a kid, and i was really attached to this kid in my dream, and today i feel a bit sad that this kid was only in my dream, does that mean i wanna have a child, and im only 18 years old ? thanks
I've had emotional attachments to dreams too.
Biologically, we are programmed to have extreme care for our offspring, so I think that its just an emotional attachment your brain put on this dream child. Vivid dreams can allow life like emotions.
So I doubt that its because you want to have a child, and I think this is normal.
i think it does mean it well be your future kid, one of my friends dreamed she had a baby & now she is pregnant.
I don't know about this one... One of those dreams visited me once, and when I woke up I was depressed too; I was 18 at the time and single, so my main reaction was "WTF NATURE?"
I agree with animalcracker. Maybe in the future, that dream kid will end up being your future kid!
from what i've read, dreaming of a baby means part of you feels scared, immature, or helpless. if you got attatched to the kid, that could mean there's someone or something in your waking life that you're emotionally attatched to. or it could simply mean you'll be a good parent in the future.
I think that is something you have to ask yourself. Do you want to have a child? Becuase you felt emotionally attached to the child in your dream doesn't necessarily mean you want a child, but do you still feel that way now, long after the dream has ended? That may tell you something.
