I have a date next monday with a girl I barely speak with face to face. We text alot to eachother, smile to eachother, you know the 'I'm interested' stuff, (we had a small talk 4 times or something).

So, is it normal to go on a date with a girl you've barely spoken face-to-face to?

    OMG im in the same position except im a girl and we had a date like tonight and i waited for thirty mmin and he never showed up :-(

    If you are close enough to meet her more frequently in person, do it.

    Phone relationships are like internet relationships: boring, less intimate, and incomplete.

    The longer you keep the relationship behind a keyboard, phone, webcam, etc. it becomes that much more strange otherwise.

    I see no problem with this. I ask girls out that I am not close with all the time! Casual dating is kind of the point where you get to know the person more before you decide if you want to take it to the commitment level.

    It's becoming more common I guess.

    It's not impossible to have an awesome relationship with someone you started out txtn.

    Kinda let's you get to know them before "obligating" yourself to them.
