Why should a country have to help a poorer country such as Africa when our country still has starving children, homeless people, and poor people? Shouldn't the government focus on it's own country first and fix the problems here first before going to aid another?
I agree 100%, though I feel the need to comment on the fact that Africa is a continent, not a country.

It's the bad government. I agree that we should let them help themselves.
You are right. Africa should be isolated as much as possible. Just 2 exceptions.
1. Disease. It is far better to stop mass epidemics in Africa before they spread to the rest of the world. Ebola, and HIV are prime examples.
2. Nutrition. Four critical nutrients: Iodine, Iron, Vitamin A, and Folic Acid need to be fortified in the African food supply. Bill & Melinda Gates foundation is working on this. It will make Africans more disease resistant to make goal #1 easier to attain.
Africans are born with genetic war-like aggressiveness and are natural cannibals. If we isolate them they will kill each other until a less dense population of savages rules the dark continent. This will make Africa less of a threat to the rest of the world.

I agree with you. Africa is a money pit that continues to have the most abysmal living conditions despite millions upon millions in foreign aid. They booted the colonial powers out only to turn the place into an impoverished, disease-ridden shithole. And the best part is that they're still blaming "Whitey" for all of their problems. Fuck Africa.
Hahaha the age old question. Problem is, problems in individual countries will always exist so its a great excuse for not helping anyone else. Coca Cola made this mistake in the 80's. They sent 1 million cans of coke and one million straws to the poor people in Ethiopia. The got a letter back saying thanks for all the coke, but what are all these leg warmers for? So as well as rotting whatever teeth these people had they also confused the hell out of them. So they would have been better sending nothing and helping drug addicts (for example) in their own country. Its a complicated subject, as I have now clearly shown.
