We fell in love, but he is 14 years younger!!!

I'm 33 he is 19! We met eachother dancing and there was an instant recognition of eachother! The chemestry was too strong, he though I was 23 and when I told him my age he told me he was 21! I had never wanted to be with anyone younger, specially NOT 14 years younger!!! But we fell in love! I'm going through a divorce and have a 5yr old child, but he had nothing to do with it -- it was already happening when we met. I feel a bit scared, this is so new to me -- feel vulnerable, can anyone relate??? I tried breaking it off a couple of times, but it just hurts to go against the flow... IIN?

about you feeling vulnerable, like you said its new to you it's a foreign feeling even.another reason you might feel vulnerable is because you dont know what to really do and your scared of other people judging you.
i think age only plays a factor if you care what other ignorrant people think.if it's true love and you love him no matter what age it will be no diffrerne at all.i think your age concern about him is just because of society,i mean if it was a man with a younger woman that would seem more normal...but then suddenly when a woman does it she is named after an animal????

follow your heart. and make sure he loves your child as much as you.

    hope this helped. :)

It could be ok, but I would recommend going slow with the relationship especially since you have a child and are going through a divorce. Though your chemistry may be strong right now, in time you might find that you are both in different stages of life with different wants and needs and thus incompatible... Or you may find you really love each other. Take it slow (especially for your child) and see where the relationship takes you. Best wishes!

I don't think that he is old enough to be in a real serious relationship. At this age most guy want to experience and have fun. You should beware of your own feelings.

Me and my gf there's a 10 yr difference. She has a 13 yr old kid. And just make sure he knows he has to accept him too. Unless he just wants a booty call. Because trust me is not easy for a guy when a woman has a kid. From experience there's a hell of a difference. But maybe I'm not in that state of mind where my gf is. And it might apply for you guys too. Other than that good luck.
