We are what what we eat eats.

I've been thinking, in the future, I would like to buy my meat directly from a farmer. I'd like to be more involved in knowing what I put into my body. I wouldn't mind putting in the extra effort and money for peace of mind. Is this normal? Does anyone else here think about this or do this?

  • Let me guess, you've been eating double portions of everything again. I told you before that you should only eat enough for one, not two.

But yes, it is normal to wonder about where your food has come from and to want to have it be safe for consumption. I also think it would be normal to want to make sure that the animals were treated ethically while they were living. Normal to me. :)

Let me guess, you are doing research for a local-farming trade rag?

I've thought about it, but who knows what they do to those cows.

I'd like to eat cows who've been feed a wholesome well rounded diet of shrooms, hashish and a little horse for some extra punch.
