Watching videos on surgery

Every time I see videos related to surgery, I get this weird feeling. I don't know the name of it but it feels like it directly affects my soul and my muscles become very weak. If I continue to watch, I may or may not pass out (never happened yet) or at least become inactive...similar to being depressed. The feeling persists for about 1/2 hour to an hour after watching the vid.

Is this a common feeling? Does anyone know the name of it?

    I feel the same way. Just to see that nasty stuff that we are filled with inside grosses me out. Layers of fat are what totally makes me lose it. I watched the show nip tuck and eventually I kind of desensitized myself to that weird feeling.

    Did you expect to be happy to see people getting cut open? Well... it makes me happy.... but that's part of the reason I'm on this site; I'm fucked up in the head.

    I don't know the name of what you are describing, no, but surgery videos can make me sick as well.

    Why do you continue to watch them if they make you feel this way?
