Is it normal to cringe when I hear people eat?
Is it normal I get grossed out when I watch kids eat? Especially when they have food on the face and the parents don't clean them up afterwards?
My other half does the whole smacking lips open mouth chew thing, and so help me one-day I may just fucking snap she eats so noisy that she makes water sound crunchy and a sandwich sound wet and sloppy. Fucking PIG! I hate noisy rude eaters. Heavy nose breathing while eating pisses me no end too.
this is my pet peeve of all freaking time... I want to punch someone in the throat when I hear smacking.. My dad does it the worst.. Eating his food without a care in the world... I literally have to get out of the room or quickly finish what am doing and leave....when I was younger i use to lash out at him cause of this I couldn't help it... It's the nasty smearing smacking sound that gets me... like when someone eats a mouth full of bananas with there mouth open.....I could shoot someone....omg and my dog has just started making this kind of noise with her mouth I think it's dry mouth... I kick her out my room when she starts to do this... I really wish this didn't make me crazy but it totally does
In my observations, I have seen tons of people with the same issue. It's not an issue that I have but I believe i'm actually in the minority on not having an issue with people eating.
Ghoster...I think you're onto something. My husband and I were up late one night grossing each other out and laughing our asses off about the things that bug us. He pointed out that almost every single thing I mentioned had to do something with sound. I find it interesting that most of my loves in life also have to do with sound. I've been a drummer and a guitarist for over 15 years, I'm obsessed with engine sounds and hearing mechanical things work. I'm extremely hard of hearing in my right ear so it's like I'm thankful I can hear, but I hate it too! LOL!! Bitter sweet!
I hate watching fat people eat. Especially when they eat enough for 3 people. You're literally watching them fuck-up their body even more.
I've have the same peeve. I hate hearing the slurping, moaning and chewing sounds people make. Why can't people be polite and eat quietly?! I barely utter a sound! Why don't parents teach their kids some manners?! I hate when people have wind and think it's funny. Food allover their faces or clothes. Haven't they heard of a fucking napkin or paper towel?! It's a pain in the fucking ass!
It can be so totally disgusting. A friend of mine was the most disgusting eater ever! Every chew exposed the masticated mass in her moose mouth. It was awful! And the mmmmm..mmm noises that two of my family members make, I just to smash their throats! I could go on a fucking rampage today, I tell ya
sometimes i listen to my mother chew and swallow her dinner and it just pisses me off so bad! sometimes i stand behind there and stare a the back of her head it's just so irritating ( i know i sound super creepy)
NO NO NO not creepy!! I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU'RE SAYING!!! LOL!!! I stare right at their face sometimes for several minutes until they turn to see me with the 'really?' face.
Creep. She doesn't ask to be watched and listened to while she's eating for fucks sake! Stop listening&staring. Problem solved.
It's always the noise that gets me. Not the actual act of eating or the sight of it, but the noise... Uurgh
