Was this recruiter trying to date me again?

I went on a couple of dates with this girl, she works for one of those recruiting firms where they find your resume on careerbuilder or indeed and if your job is a match they reach out to you via phone and email. Anyways, we went out twice and after the second date she ghosted me, but then a couple of weeks later she called me and emailed me from her job about some position that didn't even seem to be in my line of work. I jokingly emailed back "I'd rather go on a third date, KNOWHATIMSAYING" She didn't respond, but a few months later she did the same thing, that time I just ignored her. Do you think it's possible she was trying to reach out to me again?

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

Could work in your favor, don't turn it down. Years ago, I lost my full-time job, and went to several temporary services for work. Met a tall. gorgeous German blonde woman and just connected with her. The more assignments I took, even the lousy ones, the closer we got, and we started having sex. She was a married milf in need, and since we got along so well, I filled it.

The more we went at it, the more calls I'd get for the "better" assignments, including one heavily-sought after Winter job at a sporting facility that everyone knew and asked her about, to her usual answer of we'll see, or I may have those filled already. Yeah, because I was filling her, she was filling me with decent work. Kept me afloat until I found my next full-time job. Even then, I'd still do jobs for her on weekends, followed by sex. I had a good thing going.

It was awesome. One, she's an absolutely gorgeous woman (other business women hated her..always spread rumors that she slept her way to the top when she worked for a large auto company), two, she really did keep me working and paying bills, which I thank her for, and three..The sex was incredible. I knew, from the first time, that she was being ignored at home, and was happy to serve as her sexual outlet.

She was also into feeding fetishes or what a guy/I liked. Told her I liked long, polished nails, which I do and admit it's my thing, and a few days later, I visited her office and saw she'd gotten nail tips and had them done red. Drove me crazy.

Maybe she was just doing her job?

    • Right... but if I work in accounting why reach out to me for jobs that are totally not in my field?

    I think you're lame.
    That's just me.
    No, she wasn't reaching out.
    She's not interested.
She tried to get you a better job as a friend.
Plus it looks good on her end, for filling a position.
    Romantically, move on.
    She did.

Why would she recommend a job totally outside of my field? How would that reflect on her in a positive way?

I had the opposite problem. I had a chick I met on Tinder looking for a job lol. I work for an international commercial/industrial real estate firm and she had just got her real estate license. After about 10 minutes it was clear she was more interested in a job than me. I had to take my place of employment off of facebook because it connects directly to Tinder.

  • You realize recruiters get a commission when they place someone right?
You were her next pair of shoes, nothing more.

    • Yes, I am aware that she was indeed, a recruiter... but I found it a little strange she found my resume shortly after we stopped dating and reaching out to me for jobs not at all related to accounting that I was allegedly a “good fit” for.

      • All she has to do is place you. If you suck, she already cashed the check by the time the employer figures it out.
