Was my weed high normal?

Last night i smoked weed for the first time with some friends, i only had about 7-10 tokes and at first i felt fine, i sat down and from there i cant remember much. What i can remember is that the room was spinning and my friends where crowded around me, when i looked at them it would look as if one of them was moving and the others where either still or doing movements but over and over again (the same thing.) Once i broke out of that i couldnt stop laughing at stupid shit, like someones phone. Streets looked longer, i couldnt control my speech. It almost felt as if i was heavily drunk. But it was scariest at first, very trippy to the point i convinced myself it wasnt actually real.
Is this shit normal?
