Want to adopt kids but dont want to disqualify myself

I want to adopt. I typed my heart out in a paragraph to a adoption site and my laptop made it all disappear while i was rereading it right before i hit send and my heart died a little. Now im on here. i just want to know this-

Will they bring it up and say its inappropriate so im not allowed??? i dont want to mess this up ive had my heart set on adopting for years. i plan on going into the military then to inactive duty or national guard after a few years and settling down and working where i live on whatever skill i acquired in the military, probably some form of mechanic or welding hopeully. But, i also model some now and getting more shoots and im scared that if i do nude or lingerie i will be considered " unfit to adopt ". Pleeease help :/

    I don't know if it will disqualify you but I can't imagine it helping.

      They would probably ask and I wouldnt lie and just doing their research on a person who says they want to take responsibility of a child is their job as well

        Hmmm ...... well I certainly don't think it should disqualify you but authorities all have their own rules

    Don't worry about it. If you are always willing to give your best as a mother, your profession should not disqualify you to adopt children.

    Well, you can't adopt if you're active duty unless you have a civilian spouse and the same could go for guard or reserve.

    Some adoption agencies do thorough background check and may deem your nude modeling as sexual deviancy and go so far as to say that you'd provide an improper home environment for those kids.

    Active duty military could disqualify you altogether in some agencies. Unstable home environment, moving every few years, possibility of you coming home with PTSD from a deployment.

    There is a reason that adoption is not as popular of an option as people would like it to be: agencies can be and sometimes are very strict. Honestly, and I'm not saying you should but overall, it's easier just to make your own LOL.

      I was going to do only a couple of years active then settle down either during my inactive/guard years or even after that. And I wasnt going to adopt right away anyway because I wanted a couple children of my own first.
      And yeah thats what I was worried about with my modeling.. "sexual deviancy" and "improper home" ...
