Want online/instant message friends more than offline ones?

I'm not the most popular of dudes, but I've got a non-embarrassing number of friends both offline and online exclusives. I really prefer talking to people over instant messenger services without the threat of having to meet up in real life. I'm not horridly awkward socially or anything, I just hate the pressure and stress I feel being put into social situations offline. Online, it's not only comfortable, but I can mostly leave whenever I want to. The people I'm talking to are real people, not anonymous robots like some people think. Is that normal? Should I want to hang out with people offline more? Is this normal?

I think its normal to feel a lot more comfortable talking to people online. I have felt this way too, its almost too easy to be yourself online it even makes talking to girls a hell of a lot easier sometimes. Even though it is easier that doesn't mean its better. You need to put yourself out there and talk to people physically. You usually have a better time when your actually hanging out with people. When your online you can't see there expressions when you tell a joke and you can't do other things like going out to eat and creating memorable moments. Life is better offline there's a whole freakin world outside the front door.

I go through it every morning. Unfortunately, once I gag, my body's not happy til I hurl. It makes for a lot of bad mornings.
