Waiting for her.

Earlier this month, I asked out this girl I have liked for a while, and she responded that she likes me yet she doesn't want a relationship. This is the first time something like this has happened and I need advice on what to do. Please try to be serious, as I am officially confused at this. Any help or advice would be appreciated. I was thinking about waiting but I truly don't know. Is it normal?

I mean it's your decision. I'm pretty much in the same situation I really like the guy I just can't be in a relationship right now. If shes worth it you should.

I think that was a nice way of her turning you down. Let it go.

Don´t waste your time, energy, hopes and nerves waiting for her. Saying "I like you but I do not want to have a relationship." is just a polite way to say "I do not want you / a relationship with you." Instead, focus your effort on looking for someone who wants to have a relationship with you.
Imagine someone offered you a meal which you would not like to eat. What would you say: "Oh, I do not want THIS meal you offer me. It smells bad and looks horrible" or "Thanks, it looks nice but I am really not hungry"?
Please, do not take it as an offence (comparing you to a meal:), I just tried to illustrate the principle that might be behind her words.

Don't wait. If she says she doesn't want a relationship, she doesn't want one, and waiting would be difficult for you and put pressure on her. Move on. I've had guys try to wait for me, and it was awful.
