I have noticed that there are at least 2 major different definition among the American Public about what is and is not a lie.
It gets into philosophical discussions about what is "the truth."
As such there are large number of people who say that Biden lies, and a large number of people who say that Trump lies.
I'd find it interesting to get some people from both sides to just do a basic Philosophy 101 course segment up to determining what is true and what is known... and then letting them explain their reasoning behind their political positions on who lies based on well known philosophical options.
Have a great day,
I myself am speaking about statistical inaccuracies or inaccuracies in general regarding accomplished feats.
You ever see what a political argument looks like? Both people just dig their heels in and parrot whatever talking points their party-approved news networks feed them.
The truth is skewed 2 different ways and fed to 2 different groups with the intention of giving them system-approved issues to argue over. Its specifically designed to prevent a resolution from ever being reached, the point is to get people to fight amongst themselves
Coronavirus Coverup? I'm guessing you're referring to the "China created the Coronavirus" myth.
The best evidence against this is that we can tell that the virus mutated naturally. By comparing the RNA of SARS from the first outbreaks to this one, we can see that the mutation was not sudden, rather it "evolved" so to say in a natural way. Now, I don't exactly know the full science in this, but you should trust the scientists that provide quite useful data on why the SARS-CoV-2 Virus is not man-made: https://link.springer.com/article/10.1186/1471-2148-4-21
As for Trump, if you identify the best with him, vote for him based on your own research and conclusions. Do not care as much about what he says, as what he does.
And coming to this, you should be informed of all candidates from the major parties as well as the third parties and make an informed, well-researched conclusion on who is to change the country for the better.
Nobodys going to change the country for the better. Lol, people think a messiah is going to come from a poisioned system and fix everyones problems, its nonsense.
I mean, the point of a government in the modern age is to make its people feel happier and more fulfilled... THAT IS THE ENTIRE POINT OF AN ELECTION.
Everything is going to get worse and worse until the end of time. Nothing will ever get better. Everything seen as an improvement is not an improvement. Everything seen as a downgrade is not an improvement. There will never be and has never been (for the most part) any improvement towards humanity.
People have to just adapt to the enivronment they live in. Feral cats and roaches do it.
Everything wont get worse forever. I dont pay any attention to the whole political show much, People who do always seem to think theres like some "Right choice" guy thats going to solve all the problems they're bringing up all the time. All the choices come from the same circles though, its all the same.
The US presidential election is an expensive WWE match. Its a joke.
If you don't pay much attention to politics, how can you justify having any opinion whatsoever about the topic?
That's like me expressing an opinion on the coolest hip-hop artiste, the best-ever country and western song or the best character arc in Dragon Ball Z. I recognise that I know nothing at all about those subjects, so I never express an opinion on them.
From my perspective, a lot of things have become much better over the sixty-odd years I've been hanging around. Some things have become worse and the world faces some serious problems in the future, but it's nonsensical to believe that nothing can ever get better. It's even dumber to hark back to some idealised version of a much better past that never actually existed.
You are right about people wanting to believe that some politician will be their saviour and solve all their problems. But that's always been so, and it's never been true. The reality of representative democracies is that we regularly have a choice between someone who seems likely to nudge things in the direction we'd prefer, and someone else who's likely to push in the opposite direction.
That's why I don't follow it. They know enough about manipulating groups of people to put on this whole show to get everyone fighting over things that are "system-approved" problems.
I mean I never really liked Dragonball or any of that even when I was a kid, they literally float there for 6 straight episodes just shit talking each other and maybe once in a while somebody blows up a mountain.
I know enough about DBZ to tell you it's a show made for entertainment and isn't factually based in reality, just like the fake political show they put on. An election doesnt matter when you only have system approved candidates.
They did that in ancient rome, or I think it was rome. Create two parties that are really run by the same people but it gives the people the illusion of choice and it keeps them complacent. A tiger in the zoo doesn't know he's in a cage cause he's got enough room to move around. People wont revolt against an authoritarian regime if they think they're free.
Ummmm respectfully here Booj, I think he means that humanity is going up the down escalator. Politicians can have short term benefits, but they are soon cancelled by the exhaust of human activity. The future is created by business innovators; people like Steve Jobs. Ultimately, there is no escaping that Planet Earth is already past the CO2 tipping point. A few more centuries should be no problem, but ultimately super-evaporation of the oceans will leave our planet barren like Venus; a prediction made by the late Steven Hawking. Physics is destiny.
The only footprints humans can leave in the sands of time will be genetically engineered microbes to plant under the ice of Jupiter's moons. I'm glad we old folks will never have to live with the consequences of our atmospheric trash pit. Slow destruction will be inevitable. Live in the moment.
