Vomitting makes me cry

When I was a child, every time I vomitted, I would start crying. It was just a reaction, I guess. It made me really upset whenever I threw up. I guess maybe it scared me too. Probably normal for a child.

Now here's the kicker... I'm now 27, and I still cry (or feel like crying) every time I vomit. No word of a lie! Is this normal?

    Just have somebody nurse you when you puke, for comfort and ease.

    my eyes sometimes watered if I was hungover & puked, but I never actually cried.

    I cry when I vomit
    I cry when others vomit
    It's a phobia, and for me it's uncontrollable, i will always be like this and I tell my family not to tell me if they have been vomiting.

      Wow, I had no idea it was a phobia. I often feel like crying when someone else has vomited too. And if I'm near someone vomiting, I can't get the image/sound out of my head for weeks!!

    Totally normal! Barfing is the WORST! I just want someone to make me feel better!
