    This is a perfectly normal exercise. I used to video tape myself jacking off all the time. I don't know why, but it was just fun, and made the whole session a little more exciting. I never showed them to anyone, but just watched them for my own pleasure. As a guy, I learned early that if I jerked off in normal fashion, that my pumping action was too fast and became a blur on tape. I had to slow it down a bit to get the full effect.
