Very weird reaction to knock at the door and unknown phone calls?

When there is a knock at the door whether I'm in my dorm or at home in my bedroom I jump up and frantically go to look, my heart races, my arms become weak and numb and if the knock is loud and aggressive I will even shake and it usually takes 20-30 minutes to subside. When I get an unknown phone call even when my phone is on silent and it just pops up, the same happens just not as severe but those seem to be the only two triggers. For some reason I feel like I am about to get in trouble or humiliated when I open the door. I have no idea why.

I have no idea where this stems from.

Wow! I'm always afraid it's going to be a bill collector on the phone or some weirdo trying to sell me something. I'm not fond of unexpected knocks at the door. I haven't gotten any good unexpected visitors at the door since I was in college.

I used to think I was or could be somewhat spontaneous, but now it seems I prefer more structure and predictability.

You have severe anxiety, possibly from PTSD, and that usually doesn't go away by itself, so it would be a good idea to get yourself some professional help.

The phone call that is unknown makes me feel like I'm about to get in trouble, arrested, imprisoned which I never have been Im such a good person never have been in trouble. I do not feel OK until I look up the number and make sure it's a spam or collect call and not an actual person. The knock at the door makes me feel like I'm about to be humiliated to tears.
