Very sensitive to indoor lighting

I have noticed that when Im artificial lighting especially fluorescent over head lights, it bothers me a lot. My skin feels irritated and gets red and my eyes water. Since most stores and public places have these I am often uncomfortable when out (sometimes I wear sunglasses indoors because if this). The worst is where the ceiling is low and the lighting is right over my head, its physically painful at times it almost fees like Im getting sunburn. IIN?

My wife is like that. Even down here where we live in the tropical sun all day, she can't do more than about 15 minutes in a market or store w/fluorescent lighting, before she needs to leave.

No, absolutely not pale, 'Tall and tan and young and lovely, the girl I sail with goes walking and when she passes, each one she passes goes.....'
        And no, no rosacea.
