Very hot weather lessen sex drive?

It was the opposite when I was younger. I thought; heat wave, pool, beach, SEX. Now, like after trudging around in 95 to 100 degree humid heat (when I'm around and about outside, and I work in the heat sometimes too), sweating like crazy, feeling run down and washed out, seeing other sweaty, sticky, probably smelly bodies while knowing mine's the same, feeling so tired from the heat with my energy sapped out of me, sex is the last thing I want. Is this normal?

    Normal... If it's above 35C you can forget it! Even if my girlfriend dresses up in a kinky outfit and does her best to get me to do her, no way... Too hot for sex. Rather sit under the air conditioner and drink ice cold beer. And she can drive me wild with a single look...

    Also could you imagine all that physical strain at that heat... We would be two sweat fountains. Not sexy and definitely dirty.

    If I came onto the wife when it's 90 in the bedroom (or where ever) I'd get a back hand to the head.

      Sex drive is usually dampened when it's real cold too. Sex drive is usually highest when it's about in the 70s and 80s, not 95-100. Southern California has some of the horniest women, and it rarely gets above 90 in LA. Tropical beach resorts are full of horny women, most tropical coasts don't get hotter than the low 90s, and are usually in the 80s. Also, people there are often cooling off by jumping into the pool or the ocean, and they're on vacation at a resort and not working outside. Excessive heat wears on the body including sex drive. People are usually gonna be less horny when working outside when it's 98 than when on vacation at a resort when it's 85 degrees.

        most peoples aint breakin rocks in the hot sun theyre frolickin for short periods and gettin cool somehow

        most peoples skiin aint campin in the cold at night neither

    Try moderately cold shower sex.

      They may help. I feel more like sex when it's 70-75 than when it's 95-100 outside. When taking a semi cold shower, that would then make your body feel like when it's in the 70s outside.
