My pbic hair is very coarse so sometimes I get ingrown hairs. Most of the time they become infected, swell up and are very painful. After awhile they pop and pus will come out. I've never engaged in sexual activity but I plan to soon. How can I get rid of those so boys don't freak out?Does this happen to other people? How can it be prevented?

    Shave or wax it.

    If there's still a problem then see a specialist. You should get it taken care of before you start having sex. They might think you have an STD.

    Uhhh, don't have sex with multiple partners please. Boys will freak out if you get AIDs too.

    Do you shave? I don't know...my bf gets them sometimes from trimming but I shave and never have any.
