I have this urge to take a cute little kitten and squeeze it or throw it. Its the cuteness that makes me want to do this and I don't know why.

you are so mean. how could you do that to something so cute and sweet, and too small to defend itself? when i was a year old we had this cat that had a lot of kittens, and i used to pick them up and throw them (i didn't know any better). i feel bad now that i did that :(
How would you like to be completely defenceless have someone much bigger than you do cruel things to you just because they didn't like the way you looked?
You should maybe look into your past for possible causes. In this case it is not exactly normal. Generally things like this have less to do with its "cuteness" and more to do with power.
When, or if (hopefully never) you hurt a kitten, you get a sense of power over something else. It is easy to do this with a kitten because they are rather defenseless.
I know what you mean. I have two cats who love dearly and I would never, ever hurt and would fucking kill anyone who hurt them, but sometimes they look so fucking cute I just want to squeeze them to death! Sometimes my husband gets the same way and he goes "THEY MAKE ME SO ANGRY WITH THEIR LITTLE CUTE!!" at least I hope that's what you mean...

There's something which separates us from the animals and that's being able to control our primal urges. It is not normal to want to hurt kittens. Hurting animals is one of the warning signs of being a serial killer. Get psychiatric help immediately before you do something terrible.
I think op mean that they are so cute that she wants to hug/squish themseleves because they are insanely adorable. Thats how i feel about cute little animals, but would never do anything to hurt them, if thats the case then i think you're normal.
I dont know if it's normal or not, but I feel the same way. dont know why, tought. I think it is the cuteness, and i would like to hurt him just to see it scream. i feel bad, but at the same time, i want to hit it agin...
I feel the same way as a few of the posters here. Sometimes, a particular kitten is just too cute and I get this urge to hurt him. I'm sure if I actually did hurt one I'd feel horrible afterward. I have handled kittens roughly before (picking them up by the scruff of their neck).
I don't really like cats in general, I much prefer dogs, but I don't feel a corresponding urge to hurt cute puppies.

Chill out, folks. They don't mean a premeditated violent act, and lets also keep in mind that this is an urge, not an act. I'm sure everybody here has a negative urge for one reason or another from time to time. So by that logic, you all are evil, deviant, and insane.
I have a similar feeling towards cute things in general, more like wanting to squeeze them. Kind of like an emotional overload of affection. Of course you DON'T act on this feeling because you love the cute thing and would feel terrible if you hurt it by accident. But the feeling is normal lot's of people have it. Sometimes, something is so damn cute that it's just too much! This is coming from the proud owner of 4 bunny rabbits, one of the cutest damn species known to mankind. They are currently lounging on the floor next to my chair, none have been squeezed or cuddled to death.
The kind of cute that you just can't handle how much you love it and want to smother it with love aggressively? Cause then yes. I get a little crazy too lol

I have the same problem, only it's with any cat! I've never acted on it (trust me I never would) but I would clench my teeth really hard or squeeze my arm to remind myself that it could hurt them even more than it was hurting me with my arm...
I know exactly what you mean and I am exactly the same. I don't want to hurt animals at all, they are just too cute for me to handle. I have never actually squeezed it really hard, that's just my response to their cuteness.

Ok,im not being judgemental bt im jst gonna tell u wot iv heard. Psychologically thts not a good sign. Ther cud be a much bigger problem,pschologically tht results in a person being cruel to animals,especially the domesticated ones,some go as far as toturing them. It cud also spell trouble spiritually,im not sure how thru ths one is,bt it is one many signs of being possesed by a spirit. Sounds strange,bt if u dnt lyk it,do somethng abt it
