I had an emotional bond with someone for just about two years, only to realize that he did not feel the same way. There's a deep hurt from not being able to confide in anyone about a heartbreak. My heart goes out to you in your pain.
If you tell the person you're obsessed with don't be surprised if it creeps that person out.
Find someone else to focus your attention on, and I'm sorry, but I'm of the opinion that this sort of thing is really more of a crush, an infatuation and basically just an unhealthy obsession than love. I don't think being in in love can ever truly be the one way street that this sort of thing is.
