I need help bad. I am a horny 18 year old virgin male who works at a pizza place. And there is this 16 year old waitress who is EXTREMELY into me. She finds excuses to come back to the kitchen where I am as much as possible and will trade shifts to always work when I do. She says hi everytime I even glance at her and loves having 'small talk' and shit like that during her shift. But I get done much later than her so she will come back with a friend of two and hang out in the kitchen where I work for several hours. She is really nice and hot and we have great conversations. She makes an effort to bring up things like how good of a cook I am or tall I am or how muscular or how well shaved ect and it really bugs me. She recently upped the ante and started making sex jokes and talking about how most guys are slobs ect and she has grown VERY clingy. I am worrying to much or does she seriously like me and I'm too old, barely:(, and don't want to do something stupid. What would you advise one do in such a situation?

Youre 18, she is 16, check the age of consent laws, probably 16,and tap that.

It's terrible that in this day and age in a western society like the US, which is supposeably with the times, they do not look at situations like this case by case.

Let's say you have a real connection. You're both deeply in love, you're only 2 years apart, but because "this piece of paper says this so you're a rapist now" you can't even engage.

Honestly, I would leave the country. The US is a shithole anyway.

I think the US has a Romiet and Juliet law though. Look into that.

I would treat with caution, as she can totally ruin your life if she wants to.

Alternatively, just date her and don't fuck her.

What a sucky age in the romance scene. When the question is "is it legal?"

I have a hard time imagining there would be any real legal ramifications when a 16 and 18 year old are together. I mean two years difference and they would throw the book at the 18 year old?
Of course I am not an attorney so I cannot advise.
"Age of consent" has not been an issue for me since I was in high school. These days my main concern is if a lover has taken his/her arthritis meds before we get down.

You can check out this page and scroll to your state. Some states have these "close in age" clauses. At least you are proceeding with caution. Of course double check other sources.

  Its illegal in my state I checked. Thats why I said 'underage' in my post, I meant the legal term. You have to be 18 to be able to consent to sex as an adult in my state.

First thing you should do is check the age of consent in your jurisdiction. It's 16 in many US states. And if it is in yours, then this is a non-issue. And even in some of the states where it's 17, like Texas, or 18 in California, they have a "Romeo & Juliet" clause, where if the girl is only a couple years underage and the guy is no more than a few years above 18, then it's still legal.

Bottom line: There's a 90% chance all of this is legal where you live, and you're just fretting about nothing.
