I am 18 years old and ive always had a lot of friends. I wish i could keep them all but ive always been kind of a drifter. All of these "friends" however really just feel like acquaintances except a few.
The people that dont really interest me seem to want to get to know me, But the people im drawn to, i cant really get to stick around. And as for guys, theyre another story lately im ONLY interested if theyre not feelin me back. I want people to WANT to be around me but i dont think they do. Whats my deal?

    I know what you mean, I'm 18 aswell and to be honest I'm not as close with some of my 'friends' as I was back in high school coz we all went to different colleges/6th forms when we left yr 11. People change as you get older. And I dunno why some people are being da way they are but then again I don't really care, you know who your real friends are now so treasure them =]

    It's normal to be able to count your real friends on one hand! If you have more than that they're usually not genuine. There are not enough hours in one day to have a million friends. 24 hours is not enough time. Don't forget how busy life is! Forget the casual ones, just focus on solid friendships...people who will be there for you through thick and thin! The guys...forget that for now...you're only 18!!!

    Spend more time with 1 or 2 instead of making minor friends
