ive almost killed someone...you think you want to but when ur holding a bloody knife and they are a crumpled bleeding to death heap lying on the ground you think twice. and then you end up saving them and lying that someone tried to mug them and you chased them away

I sorta agree with J.W.H. The Dark Knight version of the Joker was mostly out to expose what he saw as people's true nature.

I think most people would be capable of killing in the right situation. If it's kill or be killed, I guarantee that I'm gonna do everything possible to make sure I'm not the one doing the dying.

But to kill for the hell of it...you may want to get some help on that one.

In fact, despite the previous poster's comment, more people than not, at some time, feel they could kill someone.

Many thoughts, even those which most people, even you, would consider to be of things which we could never do, occur to everybody, all the time.

Usually, however, our sense of morality and ethics brings us back to reality with a quick slap.

It's perfectly normal to be aware of these thoughts which cross your, and everybody's, mind; laugh at them for what they are, just thoughts.

I wouldn't worry unless I was actually starting to enact them.

Yeah i guess... I do have to admit i am completely obsessed with him...But i also have thoughts of killing everyone around me... family, Teachers, Friends..... I think i need help..But...I would feel to weird.

My opinion? You're too obsessed with the Joker. He's a cool character, but that's all. He's not real. There's no glamour in killing. Just the horrific, bloody, ugly reality - the ruination of people's lives, including your own.

Sometimes getting obsessed with something can lead to such thoughts. I've heard of it before. It's a form of escapism - I want to be just like Harry Potter! I want to be just like the Joker! etc.. My opinion is that when it goes too far, it's not healthy. There are plenty of other things to get interested in.

Ughh. I hope this is fake. But if it isn't please find some help. Just because it sounds fun to you doesn't mean that it will be fun for the person you kill. You can't just think about yourself and what you want.

well there are many people n the world who have problems like that, but my advice is to (1) do not try 2 kill anything/anyone, and (2) if u are to nervouse to tell anyone about your problems then call a hot-line there totally confidental and they can really help you. actually, i would say that this is pretty normal.
i bet you can ask anybody if they thought of killing and if theyr honest, theyll say yess. it's normal to think or want to kill, but actually doing it is another thing. Of course actually killing isn't normal, but thinking, wishing and even wanting, by "normal" standards, is normal :)
