i usually do all online chatting, texting, etc. w/ a german accent, although i'm american. or sometimes i'll pretend to be a completely different culture (basicaly only spanish) for no reason. i have made a real habbit of it, and i'm not shure who else does this. questions?comments? please respond!

It's not normal, but it doesn't harm anyone. Might want to be careful if talking to an actual German; it's bound to offend them.
i constantly use british words/spellings, especially during chat. but that's just me being obsessed with british culture ^.^
normal to be abnormal. After all what really is "you" anyway? In other words, what is the "self".
Perhaps by doing what you are doing you have stumbled onto something. Perhaps we are all not just one person. Perhaps we are all many many people. Perhaps are brains are not just wiring but more like recievers and so depending on what you are "recieving" will determine the output.

Well.... It isn't entirely normal. But I would be careful. Some people are really sensitive and may take it as an offense.
Yeah it's normal in the sense that a lot of people do it.
But it's awesome, keep doing it.
It's bad enough reading what other people write on the internet, please don't make it any harder. This is just like txt spk or 1337, it's annoying and really a waste of time for both the writer and the readers.
Wow. It's like if my mom typed in a Boston accent like: I pahked my cah.
I find it annoying. Please just type like a normal human being.
