Why is everyone hating? Being gothic or quiet is just as weird as being gay, or being black, or being ginger...hmmm what? That's not weird, you say? Actually, yeah! THEY ARE PEOPLE TOO. If anything, they are way more intelligent than you lot. Most of you can't even speak or spell properly, for a fucking start...

The comments demonstrate why they probably don't talk to anyone. Accusations, stereotypes, misinfotmation, general hostile attitude toward them for no reason... These are all good reasons to avoid other people. Goths get this kind of treatment a lot.

They probably sit (sort of) together because they have a bit in common, even if they aren't necessarily friends. Or maybe they are friends but don't show it openly in public because, unfortunately, doing so causes problems for them (as is obvious by some of the derogatoty comments here).

I am a white male emo. I have a many female friends, (Not dating them.) a mixed friend, a Hispanic friend, a Goth friend, many black friends, many white friends, a gay friend, a fat friend (He admits it so it's not rude.), a lesbian friend, two Catholic friends, and a Babtist one.
I seem to be the only one who is nice to every one. I have to admit, some people of other color/laguage are quite rude, but white are too. But you also gotta admit most are black... sorry black people.

haha...k, there are real gothic people out there and then there are people who shop at Hot Topic - those would be the ones where the stereotypes don't hold true. Real gothic people are depressed and anti-social except with like minded people.

If they're both really thin it sounds like they're depressed and aren't eating. Though, in my experience, Goth people pretty much let satanic things or weird things control their thoughts....and sounds like they're lonely. Maybe just walk up to them and smile..say "hi. my name is ____, what's yours?" and if they don't want to talk to you..address it. They might seem like they want to be left alone, but if a guy (or girl - Idk) approaches them ....that alone might make their day.

Go talk to the hot one.

Be charming and funny, make semi-cheeky jokes (keep it clean), observational humour is a win.
