Two problems - one solution! iin?

And...what if you grind up all the old people and feed them to the poor people? There goes social security and welfare. Just because something seems optimal does not make it morally right.

If I might OP, I've got a few suggestions:
* Make Birth Control and Sterilization free for everyone
* Make having your own kids a sin until the population drastically decreases to let's say 1 Billion
* Make Gay Marriage legal and supported everywhere
* Abolish Religion (This is a large reason why we're suffering Overpopulation)
* Make all Multi-Spouse relationships illegal (That includes females with multiple husbands)
* Give Incentives and Rewards to those that don't/won't have biological kids and get rid of all benefits given to those who reproduce
* Educate all those in 3rd world countries and teach real sex education (not Abstinence) in public schools everywhere as well as the reality of raising a child
and
lastly,
* Encourage Adoption. Put it in a beautiful light so many more people won't find it neccessary to propagate their DNA.

Over population can be solved by making it law that every girl of reproductive age has birth control implants fitted until she has been married for atleast two years.

One child per couple is allowed, and divorce is not an option. Abusive or adultry committing spouses will be shot.

You could also just do like the Chinese. Create a one-child policy, so children are more valued, marriages become more stable (since each person may only get 1 child and divorce doesn't change that fact) and education become a more serious topic as the family only has one child. And then there'll be the community benefits if they don't break the law and removement of those benefits for the lawbreakers, and maybe even a light punishment or fee as well?

This is stupid because its based on the assumption(Faulty premise) that everyone is only going to attack those who have wronged them. They might in fact murder an innocent or they might attack someone they perceived to have wrong them but that person never did.

Think about this this supposedly sweet guy follows around this girl he likes, he never talks to her and one day gets the nerve to speak to her. Now this has a few possible outcomes. Now lets break it into steps though and count the possible outcomes from there.

Lets say they ask this person out and she rejects him. She does it first because shes not interested(scenario A) or (Scenario B) she says no because she has a partner. Now they can A.accept the rejection or B.Do something about it. Now from there we have a few outcomes. A.They do something terrible to that obstacle(Other partner) B.They lash out at the girl for rejecting him, C.They walk away and accept the rejection. Now since you say this misguided individual has a free kill maybe they will use it to kill the other person and figure that makes the girl available or else murder the girl for rejecting him.

This is basically the same idea as the purge movie which was a terrible idea to begin with.

Do some research. Over the next hundred years or so the world population will crash. Hard. Indian and Chinese families are seeing that having lots of kids is setting them up for poverty. In rural china, where the biggest fams are, most of the men move to the cities to work and send money home, while females are killed or put up for international adoption for $. The breeding population there is absolutely nonexistent. And forget about draught and famine. It'll get em if the population crash doesn't. As for Americans, we are still a quickly growing country. I wouldn't be surprised if we break 500million by the end of this century.
And u wanna talk morality? Ur advocating we kill people, whoever we want, once? Can you say HYPOCRITE? Ur giving someone a free pass to strangle their infant child because they're crying too much. Or kill their elderly parent because they don't wanna pay for a retirement home.

Why don't we just create a virus and kill off a majority of the population and whoever survives will create the new world? How's that, is that a prime solution to population control?

Yes giving people a get out of free card for killing someone else would really boost the morality of society, whose going to be checking to make sure people only kill once? How would the justice system look in a society like that? What type of political system would be needed? If this is worldwide how would this play out in other cultures and countries?

Genocide of wrongdoers? So if Steve spills a beer on Ed, Steve can just blow eds head off and eds family can rely on the government to pay to support his family of six? What about dawn and Bo and their only child Louis it's his eighteenth birthday and a gang of kids decide to beat him up and kill him but no one knows who actually killed him? Dawn and Bo lose their only child and the gang that killed him can go on killing because no one knows who used their kill pass.

First, where's the morality in one free murder, for whatever reason?
Second, most humans are wired so that they do not commit extreme crimes like murder easily. Hell, most can't run over an animal with their car, without feeling sorry or all kinds of guilt. Pretty much everybody has at least the occasional desire to murder someone for some real or imagined slight, but if we all gave into that urge, most would be haunted by their actions for the rest of their life.
So, are you one of those who tortures and kills animals and thinks they would be guilt free after murdering someone? A word of warning; don't do it unless you are prepared for your victim's face to haunt you for your lifetime. I doubt you are even a tiny bit as tough as you think you are.
