Twitching after choked out?

Last week my friend and I were wrestling in my living room, and I ended up getting him in a choke hold. He didn't tap out (thinking he could get out of it) and passed out! After like 5 seconds of him laying there his whole body twitched and woke up right after... Is this normal for that to happen? Is twitching normal?

    WTF's the matter with you? Do you realize you nearly killed him? The twitching is the body's reaction to lack of oxygen when close to death. Don't ever do this again, or you'll be up for involuntary manslaughter.
