I was in my US History class when my teacher mentioned two people by the names of Tricky Dick and Deepthroat. Come to find out That Tricky Dick was Richard Nixon (referencing Watergate). And later we found out that Deepthroat was the man who busted Richard Nixon. Is it normal not to laugh at the joke when everyone else in the class was laughing? Although it wasn't a joke.

I was in a department store a couple years ago when I heard an announcement, "will Mr. Miehoff please meet your party at the service desk. Jack Miehoff.....", and then the intercom went dead as the girl realized what she had said! Everywhere I looked people, guys and girls, were all looking around and snickering, enjoying the joke that had been played on the innocent girl on the intercom.

Most programmers write a lot of code and this is a tale tale sing. Whenever you want to declare a name of say String whyCaps = “why you do that”; then you make it look like that. However this is just a wild guess but I know I do it from time to time.

I still find dirty jokes and double entendres to be funny, so I would have been one of the kids laughing.

Haha, reminds me of when I learned about it. I didn't get it because I didn't know what deepthroating was, and I wasn't that familiar with the term "dick," either. Mostly though, it was because I was two years ahead so all the kids in the class were older, and English isn't my first language and I was still trying to fully grasp it.
But if you don't know what deepthroating is, like I didn't, it's not a big deal that you didn't find it funny.

Richard Nixon was a good president. He created the EPA, opened relations with China and got us out of Vietnam. Ignore the haters of Nixon. This was a time when the liberal media had all the power. There was no talk radio, no Internet and no fair and balanced TV networks to give both sides of issues like there are today. If Nixon would of come clean immediately on Watergate, it would of been no big deal. Fifty years from now...Nixon will rate a much better president than the current administration.
I guess I am an old fart but I thought these names were more widely known. Deepthroat was NOT "the man who busted Richard Nixon". He merely supplied some information to the Washington Post reporter Bob Woodward during their investigation of the unethical/illegal activities of the Nixon administration. When Nixon ran for congress in the 1940's his opponent coined the term "tricky dick" in part to counter his claims the she was "Pink right down to her underwear" (I.e. a communist).

You're normal I think. Sometimes especially in class or in a serious situation (at least something I want to take seriously) I won't laugh at stuff that wasn't intended to be funny to be polite or I'm just not in the mood.
