Traveling alone instead of spending time with bf's family. iin?

I am thinking of travelling solo next year around Christmas and new year. I am in my early 30s and my boyfriend and I have been together for just over a year. We are serious about each other but don't live together.

The reason why I want to travel around new year next year is because he cannot afford to travel with me and this is the only time if year he gets to spend time with his family, who live interstate. 3 weeks for me to spend with his family would be wY too long, and I will otherwise get e trembly bored at home. And most importantly, I love to travel, and want to make the most of it while I can.

Would it be inconsiderable of me to travel without him?

Nope. Travel until your heart is content.

Think about it, it's not like you're leaving him alone. He's with his family. If he feels weird about it, then he's either jealous or insecure that you'll find someone better.

However, I do suggest spending at least a few holidays with his family to get to know them and make memories.

Do it until you're not married and still have time and opportunity

Perfectly reasonable. Don't allow the shackles of a relationship prevent you from expanding your horizons before ISIS flags and mountains of headless corpses are blocking them.

Go for it. Sounds like a good plan.
