Tossing and turning right before rem kicks in.

In the last few months I've developed this habit - Not quite every night but close to it.
Now it has always taken a long time for me to get to sleep but lately right when I'm falling into that real sleep after an hour or so of waiting for it to come, I HAVE to roll over and change my position in bed, and then I'm wake again from that movement. I know it's not the bed itself because it happens when I sleep anywhere else too. I fall asleep in a comfortable position usually too, but still I'll feel like I have to flip over right before that REM sleep gets going good.
Is this normal?

REM is part of the normal sleep cycle. Apparently Mr Sutton failed med school.

REM sleep isn't good, as it results in you not getting energy when you sleep, as for the tossing and turning, its probably RLS (restless limb syndrome) Do you kick in your sleep?
