Too old for school?

I'm going to be thirty years old, and for the first time attending college. Am I too old to seek a bachelor's degree? - Much less a doctorate's?

You're never too old to continue your education :)

  • No problem at all. I don't think all that many go straight through secondary, undergrad, grad, phd .. who could afford it? There is a real mix of ages especially grad & up.

Never too old, just take it slow at first until you get used to it then go for it!!!

I found that going back to college when I was older was MUCH easier than when I was younger. You are more mature and realize the importance of education.

It's both normal and smart! My father started as a freshman at age 33 and finished with a PhD degree at age 41. I went back to school, also at age 33, and got my PhD at age 38. The degree was necessary to do what I love to do. Sixteen years later, I'm enjoying every minute of my work. It was well worth it.
