Too early for christmas lights

Is it normal to think it's too early for have their Christmas lights/decorations up and lit? It's only Nov 21st, and soooo many people have their lights and trees up. I think it's too early. I will wait until December, for sure!

I went to the mall today and there was Christmas decorations up and Halloween decorations up at the same time. It`s crazy but it`s still kinda fun to look at the x-mas decorations. We were looking at this Charlie Brown christmas band it was cute. But it`s still rediculous that christmas decorations in October!

I love Christmas lights. I wish it was always Christmas. I wish people would put them up in September. I'm too lazy to put up lights.

i personally think its ridiculous to put them up that early, i would wait to mid december. i also greatly dislike christmas music in stores and stuff... it just annoys the hell outta me :/

My Birthday is close to Thanksgiving, so I get PO'ed (pi**ed off) if I see Christmas lights.... LOL... because Thanksgiving isn't even over yet nor has it begun!!! I kind of grew out of that, but yeah, it's normal.

I agree with you all! People (and stores!!) start decorating WAY too early. Oh, Happy Thanksgiving to you Americans today! :)

Yes, I hate it when people start decorating for Christmas before it's even Thanksgiving! By the time Xmas actually rolls around, I'm already tired of it!

    • I'm not a big fan of Christmas either but around my home city, Salem, Oregon, we are starting to see them up.

I'm not a big fan of Thanksgiving either but I feel that we should at least pretend that it is a major holiday on its own without Chrismas stealing from its parade as well.
