Toilet paper and anger.

I hate hate HATE! When people ask if the can "borrow" toilet paper. Seriously, ask if you can have it. I really don't want it back when your done wiping your ass, crotch, or nose with it. Or whatever you needed it for. I don't know why that drives me crazy, but it does. FOR REAL.

Did you ever see that Seinfeld show where Elaine is in a restaurant bathroom and asks the person next to her if she could spare a square??!! Very funny.
I can't see getting upset upset over what you are saying though.

  • What kind of situation would you be in where people must ask you for toilet paper?

I totally get what you're saying! I hate when women ask if they can borrow a tampon. I'm like, "No but you can have one." lol

  • ahaha! I sometimes ask if I can borrow a piece of gum, but I'm just kidding. Those people are probably joking too. Calm down.

yes you do, you know why it pisses you off. you just answered yourself. because if you are really taking people literally when they ask to "borrow" toilet paper, you obviously wouldn't want it back because it may be covered in some vile substance when you get it back. Now, chances are these people who are asking you if they may "borrow" your toilet paper probably don't realize that they are asking for toilet paper the wrong way. Simply correct their grammar politely. That should solve your problem.

I have better things to do with my time on Earth than be upset by the way people ask for toilet paper when there's none in their stall.

yeah i understand but i think they are just being polite when they say if they can borrow the toilet paper. or maybe they are asking if they can borrow a roll of paper and then give you back the rest.
