I don't know why but, I have this strange urge to want to go to my lectures in my bath robe. I just wanna walk in, sit down and say "hi, how are u?" Why can I not do this? I mean there is no uniform... so shouldn't I be able to go to uni in my bath robe. I just fear that they might sent me back. I might just ask out my crush that way.
That does sound comfy and tempting to try.
But.... Just because there is no direct rule about dress code, doesn't mean there is no disrespect in wearing something as casual as a bath robe to class.
You might be able to get away with something like that if you are in a 1st year class, but after that, you want to make a good impression on your instructors and your classmates - ALWAYS (it may not seem important, but it is, if you are taking your education/future seriously). People don't respect people who wear bath robes in public, unless you are Huge Hefner.
