Is it normal to see your Mom everyday? I live alone with only my dogs for company so everyday, I drive to my Moms house and visit with my Mother for about an hour. I enjoy spending time with her..recently though, my sister made fun of me and said that it was strange to visit everyday. I dont think its strange though because I like spending time with her.. What do you think? Is it normal to want to see your Mom everyday? My sister tells me Im too close with her. I am a 26 year old women. She has kids and a husband though, Im single and living alone so spending time with my Mom makes me feal less lonely.

    Sounds like your sister is a little jealous. You visit whoever you like, as often as you like. I think it's lovely coz I wouldn't visit my mom unless she was dying.

    It's nice that you have such a good relationship with your mom. My mom wants me to visit often after I move out. She's annoyed with her own mom sometimes because she kind of ignores her kids & grandkids, except my uncle who still lives with her. There's no reason for family to grow apart.

    I disagree.i think as an adult its very strange to see your parents everyday or even too often.live your own life and get out from out from under mommys ass.

    Your sister is jealous. Either because you are getting more of your mom's time or you are not visiting her enough.

    our parents are the ones who brought us up and helped us through life, and love us. you can never be too close to your mother.

    Thanks for your comments guys!! You all made me feel alot better. My sister made me feel kinda bad but Im like lonely. I live alone and and theres nothing to do after work and the gym. Going back to an empty house is just kind of depressing. I have friends but most of my friends have familys so I dont want to intrude on them. But anyway you guys made me feel better so thanks :)

    Sounds like your sister may be feeling a little guilt for not taking the time like you do to visit. Don't pay attention to what she says.

    Wow your sister need to get that head of hers checked there is no problem with visiting your mom everyday well unless it takes an hour or more to get there and if you have nothing better to do why not...
